Fast forward to dinner... We gave Carson a choice for his birthday dinner. We could go to the T-Rex Cafe (a restaurant at Downtown Disney) OR we could do a "Dine with Shamu" at Sea World. Carson wanted to eat with Shamu. So we picked Jason up from work around 430 and headed to Sea World. The park closes at 6 and our dinner reservations were at 530, so we didn't get to see any of the regular shows, but that was OK! We ended up getting our very own show with dinner. It was pretty cool. There were about 15 other families dinning there too and we all had tables set up in a "C" shape around a pool separated by some glass. The "private" show last 20 or so minutes. The two whales swam around and did various tricks for us. It was much better than we excepted it would be! We all had a great time!!
The viewing tank behind Shamu stadium...
Tyler was a bit scared of the big whales swimming near him!

Time for dinner...
Daddy and the birthday boy.
You can see how close we were.
Carson is 4!
A special birthday cake from our waitress.
When we got home he was able to open another gift that came in the mail and we did ANOTHER birthday cake celebration. (But of course this one was better since mommy made the cake!)
I hope Carson had a great 4th birthday!! We certainly enjoyed celebrating with him!!
