Someone is turning one!

So tomorrow Tyler turns 1! Of course his first birthday has to be Friday the 13th, that's lucky right? I cannot believe it has been one year since our beautiful-happy boy came into our lives.  He was LATE and mommy was so UNCOMFORTABLE! I tried almost every old wives tale and nothing worked! So once again, I was induced.

Before Tyler was born I remember worrying that I could not love someone as much as I loved Carson. Jason reassured me that my heart would just grow bigger and that my love for Carson would not get any smaller. One year later I can say without a doubt, he was right! I love both of my boys so much, motherhood it is amazing!

Here are some month by month pictures of tyler...I don't feel like he has changed THAT much. The biggest change is his hair color. He was born with dark brown almost black hair, now it is VERY blonde!

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend as a family. Saturday morning we went to Sea World and then spent the rest of the day hanging out as a family. Sunday we spent the morning together, went to church and then had a backyard picnic. After naps we invited some neighbors over for an egg hunt and then we had a nice Easter dinner as a family.

I thought I would share some pictures of the last 4 Easter's with you. It's amazing how fast the time has gone by!!

Blast from the past.... one thing that is nice about having two boys... they can share clothes!  I always get emotional when I see Tyler wearing an outfit Carson "just wore!" Here are a few pictures from Easter two different years but the same outfit!

Our first trip to Disney

This past week/weekend we had some friends in town on a family vacation. Two of our best friends, the Wood family, were in town on a trip they planned a year ago. We took advantage of their visit and tried to spend as much time with them as we could (without intruding too much on their family vacation). Saturday Jenn and I spent some time shopping at the outlets and then got our nails done. On Sunday the whole Arno family came over for our first official dinner party. It was Tim-Jenn-Parker, Jenn's sister, her husband and their little girl, and also Jenn's parents. On Monday we went met the whole Arno clan at Disney World. Wow, it was an adventure! We had a great time! We left around 8 and got home around 7! It was a fun filled day at the park! There is NO way I could have done it on my own! I am so thankful the Arno's let the boys and I tag along on their family vacation! Jenn's parents and sister both helped out so much with both of the boys!!

I didn't bring my camera. I figured since I was going "by myself" I didn't want to bring our big camera so  I just took some pictures with my phone.
